About the Independent Claims Resolution Foundation

The Independent Claims Resolution Foundation (the "Foundation") was established in September 1997 to operate the claims settlement process for resolving claims to published dormant accounts in Swiss banks dating from the period prior to the end of World WAR II.   The Foundation is directed by a Board of Trustees, which consists of Paul A. Volcker (Chairman), René Rhinow, and Israel Singer.   All three are members of the Committee and the Association.   The Trustees have appointed sixteen distinguished bankers and lawyers to serve as arbitrators for The Claims Resolution Tribunal for Dormant Accounts in Switzerland.
